So here we are again. Another contender in the world of the DJ... this time introducing the like of DJ Sean Diamond. This guy is a friend of mine and has been dropping some pretty sweet sets in and around Bath continually for the past couple of years. Places to look out for include:
--> Saturday Night - Vodka Revolutions --> Thursday Night - Second Bridge / Club Raw --> Wednesday Night - Bath Uni Score
and a whole load more. Focusing mainly on DnB/Electro beats and also throwing in some cheese/RnB and all the other good stuff there's bound to be something in there for everyone.
For a full list of details and upcoming dates see Sean's facebook page.
Well as I'm sure you're aware Fake Blood was meant to playing in Bath not too long ago, however due to sickness this never came off - leaving just Graham S etc, still a good night but a shame nonetheless.
HOWEVER he is to return in the not too distant future (seriously rumour has it that the night isn't far away).
So to get you wet with anticipation here's some mixes, one of which was taken from Radio 1. Enjoy!
So the first group to grace this page. Today's entry is all about a pretty awesome upcoming band from London. Now some of you may be thinking why is this relevant on a Bath blog site - well here's the answer half the band currently reside in Bath and are doing gigs all over the South at the moment so its worth keeping an eye out for these guys.
If you're wondering what the Lighthouses sound is then you're in a for a treat. With influences ranging from Justice/Surkin all the way down to Kate Bush & Bloc Party, Lighthouses manage to produce some pretty sweet electro sounds one of which you can download HERE. This is currently an EXCLUSIVE TRACK! You won't find this anywhere else...
So everyone keep an eye out! Lighthouses next lined up gig is on the 9th April - Monto Water Rats, Kings Cross, London. Full details are HERE.
If you're reading thisthen I'm sure you're aware that the Bath music scene is pretty wank and something needs to be done about it, else why would you be looking at this blog.
The main aim for this blog, apart from the occasional rant at Bath, is to tell everyone whats going on where each week, get some demos of upcoming groups and any offers that are about and the like.
I've hooked myself in with the main set of clubs in Bath as well as a few others that possibly you guys wouldn't have though of for a night out in order to get the best info out there on events and upcoming talent.
